Winnipeg vocalist Jodie Borle's debut CD And Then I Did... was released to critical and popular acclaim in December 2005. Her first single, “Round,” has been heard regularly on Winnipeg radio since the album was released. Her sophomore effort Snow, a collection of 11 holiday songs, was released in December 2006. With her combination of Ella Fitzgerald's sound and Jann Arden's humour, Ross Porter has called Borle, "a highly capable performer and one of the bright lights on the scene." Jodie is now working on her third album, set for release in fall 2008. Look for Jodie to showcase material from the new album, as she makes her ninth appearance at the festival.
