Martha Brooks' unique style and love affair with lyrics have been an ongoing feature of Winnipeg's jazz scene for the past decade, and she has worked with some of Canada's finest jazz artists on gigs that have taken her to Toronto's Top O' the Senator, the Reykjavik Jazz Festival in Iceland, the Basement in Sydney, Australia, and a concert in Berlin, Germany.
