During his formative years in Jamaica, Stamina became enchanted by music and during a testy period in his childhood and found solace in singing and rapping. Stamina arrived in Canada while he was still in high school. In 1984, while still in school Stamina, along with other like-minded classmates, began laying the ground work for the Jah Vibes band. The band still exists today with Stamina acting as front man. The vocalist feels fulfilled with a microphone in hand and an audience feasting on his infectious lyrics and electrifying performance. Stamina has shared stages with reggae stalwarts like Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Singing Melody, Sugar Minott, The Wailers, and many others.
