Jazz Winnipeg is seeking a creative, organized, and self-directed Communications & Marketing Coordinator to support year-round promotions, including the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival (June 16–21, 2026).

Jazz Winnipeg is a charitable, not-for-profit arts organization dedicated to celebrating and advancing jazz and creative music in our community. We produce concerts, education initiatives, and one of Winnipeg’s signature cultural events. We operate with a small, collaborative team where initiative and creativity are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with our agency to design and produce promotional materials for concerts, festival, fundraising, and sponsorship.

  • Support marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media.

  • Manage website content and email marketing.

  • Coordinate social media content and assist with photo/video capture.

  • Support media relations, press materials, and festival communications.

  • Help execute sponsor benefits and fundraising campaigns.

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years’ experience in marketing/communications.

  • Strong writing and design skills (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Experience with website management (SquareSpace, WordPress, or similar CMS).

  • Social media fluency across major platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Passion for arts and culture; experience in the sector is an asset.

Position Details
35 hours/week (some evenings and weekends required, especially during festival season)
Salary: $40,000–$45,000
Location: 007–100 Arthur Street, Winnipeg
