Jazz Winnipeg was proud to lead a dynamic delegation of Manitoba-based artists and industry professionals to jazzahead! 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious and influential international jazz festivals and trade shows.
Held in Bremen, Germany from April 24–26, 2025, jazzahead! served as a global hub for the international jazz community.
The Manitoba delegation focused on creative export development by building meaningful connections, exploring international opportunities, and strengthening the visibility of Manitoba’s jazz scene in the European market. Through its participation in jazzahead!, Jazz Winnipeg and its delegation helped position Manitoba’s jazz community on the world stage, highlighting the cultural richness that defines our prairie province while fostering new economic and cultural ties.
The Manitoba delegation included artists Amber Epp, Ed Durocher, Jocelyn Gould, Tetyana Haraschuk, Zachary Rushing, Will Bonness, and industry professional Elise Roller of Misfit Management. The delegation facilitator was Angela Heck.
This initiative was made possible with the support of funding from the Government of Canada through the Export Development Stream (EDS) of the Creative Export Canada program and Manitoba Music.
