Love live music, community, and summer in the city? Join the volunteer team behind the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival and help create one of Winnipeg’s most vibrant and unforgettable cultural events.
Jazz Winnipeg volunteers play an essential role in making the festival happen — welcoming audiences, supporting operations, creating a safe and enjoyable environment, and helping bring great music to life across the festival. Training is provided, and volunteers are asked to commit approximately 12–16 hours during the 6-day festival, plus one orientation session.

There’s a crew for everyone
Whether you’re outgoing, organized, hands-on, customer-focused, or just excited to help, there are many ways to get involved. Volunteer crews include: Front of House, Merchandise, Raffle, Event Safety, Enviro, Bar, Bar Sales, Stage and Set-Up, Transportation, and Finance.
Time commitment
We respectfully ask volunteers to:
Attend one orientation session of approximately 1.5 hours
Commit 12–16 volunteer hours during the festival
Take on shifts that typically range from 3 to 5 hours, depending on the crew
No previous festival experience required
You do not need previous festival experience to join the team. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable people who want to contribute, meet great people, and help create a positive festival experience for everyone.
