Free of charge for musicians and similar to the size of Small's in New York, The Jazz Workshop is a 1960s concept that provides a great acoustic space for jazz and improvisatory music. Different from a Jazz Jam, the Workshop space gives an opportunity for improvisatory musicians of all levels to rehearse, perform or present music of their choice with a rhythm section, free of pressure or expectation. 

Jazz fans and music lovers alike from all communities are also welcome to relax and listen to musicians develop their craft. 

For those who are able, there is a small cover charge of $10, which supports the Workshop. The venue has fresh, affordable and nutritious food, and is fully licensed, providing a great hang for students and the surrounding community.
