Now is the Time for Celebration brings together saxophonist Richard Gillis and vocalist Jasmine Henry for an evening inspired by the arrival of spring and the spirit of renewal.

The program features favoured standards and Icelandic folk songs, along with original compositions shaped by Gillis’s travels to Iceland and collaborations with Icelandic musicians.

Blending jazz sensibilities with Nordic folk influences, the duo creates a warm and reflective musical atmosphere that celebrates the changing season and the joy of coming together through music.
