Curubandé is Winnipeg's All-Star salsa band. Featuring the heavyweights of Latin Music in Winnipeg, such as Rodrigo Muñoz aka "Papa Mambo", Amber Epp, and Jaime Chinchilla, this band guarantees authentic Afrolatin genres such as Cumbia, Salsa, and Merengue.
This band has played at most major festivals in Western Canada that program salsa, and it has been repeatedly selected to headline the Latin night at the Winnipeg Jazz Fest, Fire & Water Festival, Back to 40 Fest, Mayor’s Ball 2024, Folklorama and many more. Recently, Curubandé All Star sold out the West End Cultural Centre for the Vivsa Winnipeg Festival, which they headlined.
