Jovelle Balani is a Filipino-Canadian vocalist, songwriter, and performer whose music bridges jazz with contemporary pop and soul. Drawing from the Great American Songbook, she re-imagines classic standards alongside original songs written as love letters–romantic and resonant across generations.

In 2025, she released her debut EP, “Miss U Like Manila,” a collection of jazzy, feel-good tracks that combine the charm of vintage romance with a fresh, modern twist.

Honouring her Filipino heritage, she also incorporates jazz-inflected kundiman into her repertoire, offering a modern take on tradition. With a warm, expressive voice, she delivers performances that are timeless, cinematic, and deeply connecting.
