From sharing stages with Alessia Cara, Walk Off the Earth, Serena Rider, Lisa Leblanc, and opening for the 5x time grammy winner Angélique Kidjo, Kelly Bado is redefining borders in music.

Her highly anticipated album, Belles Âmes, dropped in May 2025, launching an international journey across Canada and Asia and earning her Global Artist of the Year 2025 at the WCMAs. Produced by Grammy-nominated, Juno-winning Brian “Sweetwesty” West (Nelly Furtado, K’NAAN, Sia, Maroon 5), the album is a stunning fusion of Angélique Kidjo’s African rhythm, Yuna’s soulful serenity, and Corneille’s vibe.

Originally from Côte d’Ivoire and now based in Manitoba, Kelly’s deep-rooted passion for preserving languages shapes her artistry. Her striking vocals, uplifting melodies, and advocacy work have earned her numerous awards and recognitions, including her nominations for WCMA Francophone Artist of the Year and three Trille Or Awards in 2025. Kelly was a favourite in La Voix Quebec, winning the People’s Choice award, and endorsed by Sir Paul McCartney after hearing Kelly’s duet of “Let It Be” on the show.

Kelly has been showcasing her best work yet, performing songs from her latest French album, Belles Âmes, and preparing for the release of an unapologetic, fresh exploration of musical and cultural expression - her upcoming English album, produced by multi-Grammy-and-Juno decorated Chin Injeti (DJ Khalil, Pink, Dr. Dre, Eminem).
