Stephane Wrembel is one of the finest guitar players in the world and one of the most original guitar voices in contemporary music, with a prolific career spanning more than two decades.

He has headlined Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and The Town Hall in NYC, and has shared stages with Mark O’Connor, Stochelo Rosenberg, Esperanza Spalding, and Al Di Meola. His breakthrough came with “Bistro Fada,” featured in the Oscar®-winning film Midnight in Paris and performed live at the Academy Awards®.

Wrembel has released a steady stream of acclaimed recordings, including The Django Experiment series and Django New Orleans, which debuted to sold-out audiences at Jazz at Lincoln Center. His 2024 release Triptych, recorded with pianist Jean-Michel Pilc, received glowing press.

His latest album, Django New Orleans II: Hors-Série (2025), continues his exploration of the Django Reinhardt tradition with fresh interpretations and new original compositions.
