JAZZ WINNIPEG ANNOUNCES JAZZ AT THE FORT GARRY HOTEL WINTER 2025 PROGRAMMING
(November 27, 2024 - Winnipeg, MB) Jazz Winnipeg is thrilled to be returning to the Fort Garry Hotel’s Club Room in 2025 to launch a winter season of weekly concerts featuring several newcomers to our Jazz at the Fort Garry Hotel series, and continue its valued partnership with the Fort Garry Hotel.
The upcoming winter 2025 includes season opener Kelly Bado, Django Reinhardt-inspired string band Juvel, and perennial local favourite big band the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra in January, plus 2024 TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival favourites Faux Pas Funk and Jovelle Balani, and a tribute show to torch singer Julie London with local vocal talent Jasmine Henry in February.
“We’re very proud of the momentum we’ve built and the devoted audience that shows up week after week for Jazz at the Fort Garry Hotel. Since its inception in March 2023, Jazz at the Fort Garry Hotel crossed the 100 concert milestone earlier this month, and we’ve showcased 80 unique artists or projects as part of this series,” said Jazz Winnipeg programming director Zachary Rushing. “This ongoing success shows that Winnipeggers are eager to discover the high-quality, engaging programming that Jazz Winnipeg offers, and we trust they’ll continue to do just that this winter with this new slate of artists.”
